Go along North Road. Turn left into Duncan Rise, follow the bend to the right. At the end of the road is a footpath.

Go right, downhill a short way to the next junction and go left with the school grounds on your left and a hedge on the right.

Keep ahead between two fences across the garden of The Change House, down and up a steep dip and on into Gravel Pit Field. Continue ahead with the hedge on your right past a farm track from the left and through a gap into Fox Field.

At the far bottom corner of Fox Field follow the path over a wooden footbridge.

Go right a few yards and right again to cross back over a stile a few yards from the bridge.

Go diagonally left across the grass to join a concrete farm road along the top side of the meadows. Follow this road with the hedge on your left.

Where the concrete road forks ahead go left, continuing with the hedge on your left to a gate with a stile on its left hand side.

Go over the stile and keep ahead. Where Tilbury Hall Chase joins from the right keep ahead along a grass track with Tilbury Hall on your right.

Continue ahead through a kissing gate into a meadow and through two small gates into Tilbury Churchyard. Just past the Church the path becomes a gravel drive. Go right through a gap in the hedge and through a gate onto School Field.

Go straight up School Field to the far top left corner. Go left through a gate and a short path to the road. Go right up the hill into Tilbury.

Go right onto Tilbury Hill, go left at the next ned and follow the road towards Great Yeldham.

From the Great Yeldham road go left along an unmade-up track between two houses into a field, and turn left along the the top side of the field, for a short distance before turning right down a narrow uncultivated strip all the way across the field.

At the bottom of the field go right, continuing ahead along the permissive path to Mill Lane.

Go left past two houses on your right, then go right.

Continue along the bottom of the field with the boundary on your right.

At the far corner go left and up the side of the field to the top corner. Follow the path ahead between the houses and down some steps into Leather Lane.

Go right down the pavement to the Village Green.
