Start from the village green
Cross the bridge and go
left into the High Street
Cross the High Street
and go up these steps.
Joining from Whitlock Drive
avoiding the steps
Go ahead behind the houses
Cross over the old railway track
Go ahead over Smith's Field
Go ahead into Brickyard Field
Go ahead past the path
joining on the right
In the far corner go
right over the bridge
Then left along the
side of Kitley Wood Field
Go left then right
along Church Lane
Go along Church Lane
towards Toppesfield
Entering Toppesfield
Go sharp back left into
the churchyard
Go past the Church to the end
of the churchyard and through the gap
Go left along the side of the field
and right at the corner
Go ahead to the road
Cross the road, then go
right at the footpath signpost
Go ahead slightly right
by the way-marking post
Go ahead beside Oliver's Farm
fence towards the gap at the end
Go down and up the ditch
through the gap
Go ahead across a nettle patch
and a corner of the concrete
Go diagonally across the field
At the top of this slope go over the footbridge and down the other side
Keep ahead, then go right
through this broad gap
Follow the hedge right then
left and through this gap
Go right over the bridge
Follow the hedge to the
corner of the wood
Go right and left from the
meadow into a field
Go ahead beside the ditch
Cross the bridge and keep ahead
At the far end of the field
go left through the hedge
Go through this wild area down towards
the bridge. This floods after heavy rain
Go over the bridge
Go left at the lake
Go past the end of the lake
As the path curves right,
go left to leave the lake
Go up the lane
Go along Toppesfield Road
Turn into the Sports Ground
Go behind the Pavillion.
Go ahead through this gap.
Turn right down the slope.
Go through the gap
Go ahead to the steps
or right to Whitlock Drive
The exit to Whitlock Drive.
Then go left to the High Street
Go ahead down the steps
then cross the High Street
Go left, then right over the
bridge to the Village Green.
