Walk 8a, Poole Farm, Cobbs Lake and Scotney Lane, clockwise.

Start from the village green
Go up Leather Lane
Go right and up the path
to the left of the garage.
Between the trees.
Cross the bridge and go right.
Go along the top of this field.
Follow the boundary
left, right and left again
Go right over the concrete
and towards the gate
Go left just before the gate.
Go down the field towards the gap.
Go over the bridge.
Go ahead up the next field
Go ahead through the gap.
Go past the wood on the left.
Go to the far side of the field
Go right through the kissing gate,
over the bridge and left.
Go ahead.
Go right.
Enter Poole Farm yard
Go left, then right and right again
Go ahead.
Whitlocks Chaff Works
Go left to the road then
right towards the village
Cross over and turn off
beside Orchard Ley
This is Blooms Lane.
Keep ahead up the left fork
Blooms Lane
Go right through the gap.
Go diagonally down the hill
Go ahead past the stile
Across this wild meadow.
This floods after heavy rain
Go over the bridge
Go left at the lake
Go past the end of the lake
Go ahead away from the lake
Go up the green lane
The green lane
Go ahead onto a more
used part of the track.
Go into Toppesfield Road
and turn left.
Cross the road and go right.
Pass Scotney Farm and other
houses on the right.
Leave the field by the gap
in the corner.
Scotney Lane
Pass one house one the right.
This is now Church Lane.
Go right by the way-marking
post into the field.
Go through the gap then
sharp right to the corner
After going left at the corner
go shortly ahead, then right
Through this gap, over
the bridge and left
Follow the path beside
Brickyard Field
Keep ahead past this path
joining from the left
Leave Brickyard Field,
then go left and right
Leave Smiths Field through
the gap ahead.
Go ahead to the steps
or right to Whitlock Drive
The exit to Whitlock Drive.
Then go left to the High Street.
Go ahead down the steps
then cross the High Street.
Go left, then right over the
bridge to the Village Green.
