This is the oldest Cottage Garden Society in the Country, formed in 1854 (see History), it has run continuously since then with just two small breaks.

ACTIVITIES:

The Annual Show held each year. There are classes for Cut Flowers & Pot Plants, Fruit and Vegetables, Flower Arranging, Craft, Cookery, Photography and Children's entries. Show schedules (free) are printed in the spring.

MEMBERSHIP:
New members are welcome. Subscriptions are due each October for the year to 30 September 2027 and are £5.00 each (or £8.00 for couples). Benefits include entry to member only events such as open gardens, discounted fees for events, and monthly newsletters detailing upcoming activities.
