Hitchcock's Meadows, Danbury. Lightly grazed permanent pasture. Owned by the Essex Wildlife Trust.

Free open access at all times. There is no parking at the meadows but there is free parking about 5 minutes walk away at the Parish Council free car park by the sports ground in Mayes Lane.

4 June 2013. 2 Large Whites, 1 Small White, 1 Holly Blue, 1 Comma, 1 Speckled Wood, 1 Small Heath and 1 Speckled Yellow Moth.
