Free public access, with a car park.

This site is known for its Black and Purple Hairstreaks, White Admirals and Silver-washed Fritillaries.

2 June 2011. 1 Large Skipper, 33 Speckled Woods, 1 Meadow Brown.
15 July 2011. Numerous fresh Peacocks.
22 July 2011. 3 Purple Hairstreaks on small Oaks on the dry grassland area (mid day), numbers of fresh-looking Red Admirals and Peacocks, 2 Silver-washed Fritillaries (morning), 1 Comma, few gatekeepers, Meadow browns, Ringlets and large Skippers.
7 June 2012. TL1869,1 Small White; TL1870, 6 Speckled Woods.
26 July 2012. 2 White Admirals, 3 Silver-washed Fritillaries.
30 June 2013. 1 Large White, 2 Black Hairstreaks, 7 Speckled Woods, 5 Meadow Browns.
11 July 2013. 1 Black Hairstreak, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 3 Commas, 2 Silver-washed Fritillaries, many Large Skippers, and Meadow Browns, some Ringlets.
